HOME INSPECTION

Buying a home is a big decision. The last thing you want is to move into a home or condo without a thorough home inspection to make you aware of any problems that may exist. Problems that could be costly to repair or, worse yet, beyond repair.

That’s why it’s critical to choose a service like ours. We have over 30 years of experience paired with extensive training to know exactly what to look out for. If there are problems, we’ll find them for you. Our home inspection is done by ASHI certified inspectors that include an on-site report, pictures included.

What is a home inspection?

A home inspection is a comprehensive look at a home by a qualified professional. It is designed to inform you of the condition of the property, the life expentancy of its major systems. A home inspection will give you "the big picture" of your decision, the estimated maintenance and cost of repairs. We include a free mold inspection and thermography scan with every home inspection.

How long will my home inspection take?

A basic home inspection will depend on the size of the house, its condition, and age. Generally speaking, a home inspection will take around two to three hours on average.

Should the buyer be present at their home inspection?

In one word, definitely! The home inspector will give you valuable insight into the home as you go through your inspection. Some issues with home inspections are best pointed out with the customer and the inspector together.

Why do I need a home inspection?

Purchasing a home is a big decision for everyone. It is very important to know as much as you can before making a decision. A home inspection can save you time and costly repairs as well as give you a good understand of a home before you by it.

What does a home inspection include?

The home and all of its major structures and systems will be inspected. This includes the condition of the homes plumbing and electrical systems, heating and air conditioning systems, roof, foundation, attic, walls, doors, windows and all visible structures. An on-site report will be generated for your inspection and digital photos are included.

What happens if something is wrong with the house that I was not aware of?

Our inspections are designed to give you an overview of the condition of the home. If a major problem turns up during the inspection the buyer may try to negotiate with the seller. It is best that the buyer has a home inspection in order to avoid discovering needed costly repairs after they move in. For the seller it is important that they know the condition of their home to avoid this surprise also.
